Hi my name is Aleksandr Feldman and I set up this blog to transition from the corporate world to the start-up one. I worked for investment banks the past 5 years and decided to take the plunge into unemployment I mean self-employment. I got my MBA from NYU-Stern in December 2011 and the same month I switched to part-time at work. Now I’m working three days a week as a transition period and in a few month will leave the firm completely.

I want this Blog to serve two purposes:

1. To make sure that I don’t get lazy staying home, and makes me accomplish something every single day so that I can blog about it. Also now my beautiful fiance Lexi will know exactly what I do on my off days. Because she keeps asking me and I just can’t say Netflix or Playstation anymore.
2. To help other people who are leaving the corporate world and are trying something on their own. Its hard to know where to start. Hopefully this site will be useful for those.
